The Corner Hotel attract some seriously awesome acts, I've been there heaps of times in the last 12 months or so. I saw both The National and Okkervil River there last year. It's not the best venue in the world - the sound can be dodgy at times and the squashiness can be a bit much, but still, I've seen two of my favourite acts there, and they were brilliant.
Trams are great too. But not when they're packed.
It's true, no form of public transport is fun when it's crowded. I was once on a tram with Conway Savage. He gave up his seat for an old lady. Truely. What a sweety.
